Is it optimal to print digitally?
Although traditional printing is often seen by many as a more "authentic" and genuine craft, digital advancements have created opportunities for "printing" that were previously only done by a photocopier. Digital printing meets needs that were previously impossible to fulfill. Smaller print runs at reasonable prices are the strongest argument for digital printing.
But there are also other advantages. For example, if you:
- Desire shorter lead times.
- Want fresh facts and timely content with continuous updates. You print version by version.
- Don't have space and room for stockpiles of printed materials.
- Want smaller print runs but still make a professional impression on the recipient with high-quality prints.
- Have an organization with a variety of material needs and instead want to utilize the "Print on Demand" opportunity.
- Want to create personalized "variable prints" on addressed advertising where, for example, names, locations, or similar are printed to make the communication feel more personal.
- Think about the environment and thus optimize your print run to minimize paper waste. Print new ones as needed.
- Want to make test samples to ensure large offset productions. You then get to experience the print as close to reality as possible before running the large print run.
