What is a print template/Print-ready PDF?
Our print templates are blank PDFs in the correct format with trim marks that you can use to design your product. Once you have a finished design, you'll have a print-ready PDF that you can then upload on our product page.
Shipping and Delivery
The cost of shipping your order varies depending on the weight of the order and the shipping option you choose. To calculate shipping costs and delivery time, add your products to the shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Orders are shipped with Exakta's contractual partner for shipping. Available shipping methods may vary depending on the products in your order and whether you are ordering as a business or an individual.
Partial Delivery
Exakta has the right to make partial deliveries of the customer's order if the products in the order can be used separately.
Delivery Time
The delivery time is defined as "Shipped from" and not "Delivered to," which means that we guarantee that your order leaves our production facility at the specified time, not that the order is delivered on the specified date.
Right of Withdrawal, Cancellation, and Return
With over 40 years in the industry, customer satisfaction is paramount to us. We aim to ensure 100% customer satisfaction!
Once the purchase process is complete and the customer has placed an order, the customer's products cannot be changed, and the order generally cannot be canceled or revoked. This is because Exakta Print AB's e-commerce production flow is largely automated, and the time from ordering to manufacturing can be very short. To ensure delivery within short deadlines, each order is processed immediately, preventing any changes.
Products ordered through Exakta Print AB's e-commerce site are custom-made according to the customer's instructions and cannot be used otherwise by Exakta Print than for the customer. The customer's right to withdraw from the purchase is invalidated according to the Distance Contracts and Contracts outside Business Premises Act 2005:59 Chapter 2 §11 and the customer's right to cancel the purchase according to the Sales of Goods Act 1990:931 26 §. This is accepted by the customer at the time of ordering.
Customers can always contact us at support@exaktaprint.se and provide the order number to see if cancellation is possible before printing of the order begins.

Complaints
If Exakta Print AB has delivered a service that is incorrect or deficient, if the result of the service is damaged during transport, or if the shipment is lost during transport, the customer can make a written complaint to Exakta Print AB, which handles the complaint. Complaints regarding orders from the e-commerce site should be submitted via email: support@exaktaprint.se or registered here.
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time from when they were discovered or should have been discovered. The complaint must specify the type of error. In situations where the customer's order does not meet the customer's expectations (in cases of damage or errors in the order), Exakta Print undertakes to correct and reproduce a new product for the customer at no cost.
Which Paper Should I Choose?
In most cases, you can choose our standard paper type, which is 170g silk. This paper provides good rigidity and works well for both text and images. Silk is a medium-coated paper that is not as glossy as gloss paper but rather a perfect middle ground between gloss and uncoated paper. Our other option is uncoated paper in 140g quality. This provides roughly the same rigidity as 170g silk but with a more textured surface. The colors become slightly duller and lighter but gives a more natural feel.
What is PMS (Pantone)?
PMS is a reference system for specifying color shades and a color model for decorative colors. The Color System catalog displays 1,114 PMS colors. These colors are then mixed at the printing press from 14 standard colors, taking into account factors like paper, etc. The system is available in advanced graphic programs such as Illustrator and Corel Draw. The system is the opposite of process color, where the color is built up from four base colors, as in the CMYK color model.
EPS – Encapsulated Postscript - A file format primarily for vector graphics but also used for raster graphics. The format is used by both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. EPS differs from regular PostScript because EPS should leave the PostScript interpreter in the same state as before while an EPS document can only consist of one page and must declare a bounding box, i.e., a box that limits the image. For raster images, there are several useful features in the EPS format. Images can be clipped with clipping paths, and the format can store information about raster type, raster density, and transfer curves to compensate for the image's brightness and tones according to the printing conditions. The EPS file consists of two parts: an (optional) low-resolution preview image and a PostScript part that can contain both vector and raster graphic commands. The preview image is the image that is mounted in the layout program and is in PICT format. Modern layout programs like Adobe InDesign can interpret and display the actual PostScript information with full quality and correct colors, eliminating the need for a preview image. The high-resolution pixel part of the EPS image can also be JPEG-compressed. The image still retains full EPS functionality. As the name suggests, the PostScript code is encapsulated in a file. Therefore, the format is quite protected, but it also means that you cannot affect the image when it has been placed on the page. The EPS format is different for PC and MAC. Adobe Illustrator's format .ai was based on EPS up to version 10 but has been based on PDF since Illustrator CS (version 11).
Acronym for dots per inch, a measurement unit for resolution, primarily for surface units. A raster image is composed of a number of pixels, and the number per unit area determines the quality of the image. Resolution is a term often used in photography that indicates how fine details can be reproduced at most, but actually, ppi is a more relevant term.
Color model for four-color printing with subtractive color mixing where the primary colors are cyan, magenta, and yellow, and a so-called key color (K) is used. In printing, black is almost always used as the key color.
C = Cyan
M = Magenta
Y = Yellow
K = Key color, usually black
CMYK and subtractive color mixing are used in blending colors applied to paper or other printing media, i.e., visible through reflected light, unlike computer screens, which work with emitted light and only display colors in the RGB model, even if the underlying image is created in the CMYK color model. The Euroscale is a color standard for offset printing according to the CMYK system.
